Welcome Reception at H.E. Spanish Ambassador’s Residence
The crew of pilgrim sailors were welcomed warmly by H.E. José María Muriel, Spanish Ambassador to Malta in a reception he organised in their honour at his residence in Balzan.
Visiting the boat and crew
This morning James Portelli, XirCammini, and Francesca Vincenti, Malta Tourism Authority visited the crew at their berth in front of the Maritime Museum in Birgu.
Interview on Radju Malta
This evening at 20:30, Radju Malta will be broadcasting an interview by Joe Dimech with XirCammini;s James Portelli regarding the Camino Maltes Ruta Maritima which commences with a 34km night hike of the Malta segment from Rabat to Birgu, followed by mass and a pilgrim blessing at the collegiate church of St. Lawrence which was the first church of the order of St. John when they came to Malta in 1530.
