We did the Universal Peace Walk from Mdina to Zejtun. Three years ago we had planned to do the Camino de Invierno in Spain, but covid arrived and we had to cancel. It was a dream of ours to do the Camino and then start our family. In the end I got pregnant and had my baby Diego 6 months ago, so when we heard about the Camino Maltés we didn’t think twice! We carried our baby Diego all the way, stopping often and slowly but surely we made it to Zejtun. It was hard but extremely rewarding. Now we know we can achieve anything and we can go to Spain soon and continue our Camino there. The world cancelled our plans as a couple but it threw better ones for the future as a family. Thanks to the XirCammini for being so caring and gifting us our baby’s first Camino credential. Thanks so much for allowing us to start our family Camino in Malta.
