From Bolotana the walk continues to Bonorva.
With around 3,500 inhabitants, Bonorva is a farmers and shepherds’ village known also for its artisan traditions. It is within the province of Logudoro within 50km from Sassari. The walk is now starting to veer us westwards.
Bonorva has one of the most important Pre-Nuragic monuments in the area, with the most prominent prehistoric evidence being the necropolis of Sant’Andrea Priu, a funerary complex consisting of twenty domus de Janas dating back to the 3rd millenium, Neo-Eneolithic period.
500 metres away there is also the 14th century church of church of Santa Lucia.
From Bonorva the walk continues to Borutta.
