From Sant Andrea Frius the walk continues to Silius.

Silius is a agro-pastoral town 50 kilometres from Cagliari, in Sardinia’s central-south. This area is characterised by monuments. Silius’ is at an altitude of just under 600 metres above sea-level and has 1200 inhabitants.

The remains of the Castle of Sassai confirms the importance of this town during the Giudicale and the Spanish eras. Although historically known for mining the principal activity in the area remains agriculture and shepherding.

From  Silius the walk continues to Goni.
